Unserviceable Flags:

If you have an unserviceable flag, you can deposit the flag in the bin on the front porch of Verdugo Hills Memorial Hall, 4011 La Crescenta Avenue, La Crescenta 91214.

We periodically pack the unserviceable flags that are collected into cardboard boxes and deliver them to LA County Fire Station 82 in La Canada, who in-turn take our flags (as well as others the fire station collects) to their Sylmar Facility where they are retired by burning, a method consistent with the Flag Code.
